JazzGa 14,348
I love 40's and 50's and 60's music. I have the Fallout games to thank for getting me into do-wop, Billie Holiday, and other greats. Here are some of my top tracks Unchained Melody-- ultimate vocal slayage, if you are a fan of RihRih's Love on the Brain u will adore this Earth Angel-- The quintessential Do-Wop Bop!!! People just don't take advantage of vocal harmonies like this anymore. I Put a Spell on You-- The eternally covered blues original. Screamin' Jay Hawkins's original performance showed a certain untamed emotion, the wild ferocity of betrayal by love. But no vocalist can combine emotion, technique, and phrasing like Nina Simone I could go on and on about jazz and blues vocalists (thx C2C for expanding my taste) God created Adam and Eve, but Gọdga collabed with Brian🎺 and Steve🎷
JazzGa 14,348
God I would LOVE for Gaga to cover I Put A Spell on You. What kind of perfect C4C/AHS crossover God created Adam and Eve, but Gọdga collabed with Brian🎺 and Steve🎷
StrawberryBlond 13,245
This song makes me cry ever since it was used in the film, Riding In Cars With Boys. It's happy but sad at the same time: This is everything that a 60's ballad should be to me: I dare you not to cry when hearing this: This makes me want to dance at a 50's themed disco. You can see how Olly Murs was inspired by this guy: Great for Halloween: One of the first ever rock classics: Anyone who doesn't like this classic is no friend of mine: This is literally one of the first songs I ever heard as my dad used to play classic rock n roll: This is only halfway through the decade!
