jeremiah saint 0 Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 This I just don't understand, she's been calling herself an artist for a long time but she can't call her work "art"? i just feel like she's doing the whole "the greatest album of the decade" crap again by calling it ARTPOP a lot of people have reacted to the title and a lot of them don't like it they say shes being arrogant and conceited I, also, found this album title extremely pretentious. It's so ...eh! Like the MUSIC should clarify that it's content is art pop, NOT the title. You never saw Kate Bush naming her albums "art rock", but you knew instinctively that that was the genre in which her songs belonged. Long rant short, this album title isn't doing much for me. Hoping that the music still brings me joy, though. I am now awaiting Beyonce's next musical opus.
