The exaggerations and the overall satirical nature was the whole point of the movie though lol

OT: Lady Gaga presents The Born This Way Ball.

I'm sorry Gaga but I couldn't even stick around til the movie started. Booked an appointment with an Orthopedic specialist instead. :madge:

Well, I know, but I can't help it. Also I think I probably dislike it because when me and my sister were little she insisted on watching it every 3 days and we shared a room and I had no choice, but watch it :poot:

I was that sibling that played Monster Inc on repeat :selena:  Me and my sister took turns on chosing what movie to watch before we go to bed. She always played Mean Girls and the movies from the Barbie franchise and I always played the Scoby Doo movies and Monster Inc, but the movie we both liked to watch was Lion King and when one of us was not in the mood to piss the other off with his fave movies I/my sister played Lion King :lolly:

Memories

Spoiler

And that wasn't long ago, literaly 7 years ago before we bought larger house :selena:

Just like most other Disney princess movie though, and for once she learns that it's not always a good thing.

Not necessarily. Most other Disney princess movies do have a love interest, as well as a "love at first sight" sort of thing, but nothing to the scale of Frozen (she literally hands Hans control of the situation like guuurl).

The love interest usually builds up or in Moana's case, doesn't exist whatsoever. Tangled built up, Aladdin (if you count Jasmine since some people don't) did it, Mulan, Princess and the Frog all did it etc. My main gripe is that Disney tried to do a reversal of the love story by focusing on her sister but it didn't feel that way at all.

Hans' betrayal scene was horribly executed imo. Frozen overall was very nice and as long as kids like it then so do I, but the whole idea could have been done way better rather than sticking to convention/what will definitely work. In retrospect Frozen just doesn't deserve the praises it got when it first came out.
