I really hope the era doesn't shape up to be worse forms of this sort of behavior for the sake of the persona she's putting on (irresponsible, reckless, immature, etc). A cigarette every now and then isn't that bad. In fact, Rihanna (yes I know a large amount of you hate her, just go with it) smokes a cigarette before every show because she says it makes her voice sound better. Since she's been in LA its like she's a completely different person. 1) rude gestures to paparazzi 2) general fashion (yes she wears a lot of leather etc but not this much 3) Now this you can just tell its fake and a show, its to gear people up for the new music.
