All the songs must introduce a new idea and must be cohesive and integral to the theme of the concept album idea. All Or Nothing An edgy-sounding, electro-rock song about how life is a game of fate and we spend our time gambling with the decisions, risks and sacrifices, in order to have a better life. It can take everything we have, in order to become a success, and it can work out for the better or for the worse, leaving with everything or nothing. I actually pulled it from a Shakespeare play. The way its arranged reminds me also of a storm. There's the calm, the build up, the explosion, the dying down, the resurgence, and the aftermath. I leave this room without a trace The only limit is the line I draw an open field or bed of straws wander to the vision I see If these walls trap me and I must flee When inspiration is gone my pencil flutters hands are shaking stay up until dawn but when she comes back with a whispering song I return to paint landscapes and she plays along a song I wrote for school! Had to write a song called "Landscapes" because we needed to register all songs for a concert nest week, and we needed one more so the other guys just made up a random title and I had to write the lyrics for tomorrows practice !
