I have alot of pieces I have been working on for quite a while I took a 2 year break to write my novel, so I am coming back to my ( wait for it) 169 pieces and polishing them... I am honouring my vomit so to speak :D I know what a half rhyme is :) I feel to have a song not rhyme is kinda lazy. or is it the opposite... it is breaking the mold of a traditional song... sure it it is harder to get a melody etc without a rhyme but to be honest I don't think a song has to completly rhyme... I think it takes a very creative person to find half rhymes when writing a song, Marry The Night's bridge is mostly made of half rhyming lines. Ok I take it back I think it takes a very creative person to find half rhymes when writing a song, Marry The Night's bridge is mostly made of half rhyming lines. Don't listen to that fool, you are completely right. As a writer you need to actively choose which medium suits your topic. I kinda agree,Rhyme isn't only about the last 3 letters in some cases,It's how you pronounce the world too. But in many cases like the ones in the OP,It somehow fits!
