get mad when it's something that the targeted culture actually gets offended like native Americans. The Japanese had no problems with it and that's that on that. Every culture is different. One does not always apply to the other. Having said that, the Japanese being okay with it doesn't make any other cultures' complaint invalid (like I said about Native Americans above).

i'm indifferent toward katy, but i think that the hate she's getting is out of proportion. she's not the most educated person, that's why she's trying to learn as much as she can. it's something that should be appreciated. i've seen segments of her witness live stream and thought that there were actual moments when the content met the expectations of the concept. tbh, my way of perceiving her is quite different now.

Felix has always been very open about his sense of humor and his "bad jokes" (and I'm not defending him or his jokes, let me be clear) Katy instead used this "realization" (of her not being aware of cultural appropriation, racism etc...) to promote her album and tried to sell us this extremely manifactured and politically correct version of herself that is obviously not helping her or her sales

I'm happy she's realising she made several mistakes in the past but she just seems fake to me

The whole point of the video is to show how far people would go for a little bit of money on fivver, it's a shade towards YouTubers and what they'll do for views.  I remember he asked a girl to make a him a bar-chart made of dícks, and other one to drink bleach and they both didn't nor did he really expect them to. That's why he was shook when the Indians answered his request, and he apologized in the same video and took responsibility.

Remember he could've easily not upload the video if it shows him a in a bad light, but he did cuz the context was clear and knew his audience would understand the message behind it.
