He is feature on Katy Perrys single "Chained to the Rythm" He has 2 songs published in 2015 but in January 2017 he got signed to Island Records. They are really pushing this "he is Bob Marley's grandson" thing and also trying to incorporate Bob's classic reggae sound into Skip's music, but they're doing it in a pop music way and for some reason that doesn't sit right with me. Especially since Skip's debut single was a part of that Pepsi ad. I wouldn't mind the sound at all if his record label and team weren't pushing this "reincarnation of Bob Marley" sell-point.
