The Cure Quirks?
So what Gaga-isms or quirks have you discovered with The Cure? After a few hundred listens, I just realized there was a slightly muted second voice around the 2:08 mark that really reminds me of her DWUW vocals and it's my favorite part of the song so far.
And while the "deep, distorted" vocals towards the end remind of Beiber+DJ Snake's Let Me Love You, I just remembered Gaga has been using that since The Fame era.
The pre-chorus instrumentals also feature a riff(?) that reminds me of
I just noticed all the second voices peppered along the track. I caught just one before
but I never knew the verses had them. Recently whenever she sings the verse, I "added" my own second voices without realizing there are second voices to the parts I'm adding them too to begin with.
The chorus' "and if you say you're okay, I'm gonna heal you anyway" also sounds like there is a male second voice??
