10 years ago this week (March 13, 2007), Amy Winehouse's critically acclaimed, iconic album 'Back to Black' was released in the United States. The album had already been released  in many other countries a few months prior, but this was Back to Black's entrance into the US market.

The album debuted at #7 and later peaked about one year later (in February 2008) at #2, after she swept the major categories at the Grammy's. The album has sold over 3 million copies in the United States.

The album had 2 songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Lead single "Rehab" peaked at #9 and follow-up single "You Know I'm No Good" peaked at #77

The album was responsible for Amy winning Best New Artist at the 2008 Grammys, as well as earning Best Pop Album.

She also won Best Song, Best Record and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Rehab".

Amy, God bless and rest your soul. A true pioneer and icon. I wish you could've had a longer career.
