Gaga absolutely smashed it, the whole thing was perfection! The intro, the jump, the flips, the CHOREOGRAPHY! Her vocals were on point, so were the song choices; she was never going to be able to cram everything in but I loved what she did. She has a unique problem of having too many worthy hits to perform, but what a problem to have! She's a legend. The ending is iconic already, THANK GOD she caught that ball. I mean thank God the whole performance went smoothly, but I'm especially thankful she caught the ball! It's annoying me that some people are saying she wasn't political enough. Did they miss that intro? That was a very clear statement. Including the Born This Way bridge was powerful, it says it all. She should be so proud. WE should be so proud. Haroon 49,685 Posted February 6, 2017 Share Posted February 6, 2017 Mess I fell asleep an hour before the game started and just woke up now First thing I did was panic when I woke up and watched the performance and I LOVED IT The beginning was bloody brilliant and she looked stunning, so strong and powerful and super heroine-esque The way she began with an instant medley with all the mixing of lyrics had me super on edge as well She looked amazing throughout with the changes to the wardrobe. I wasn't expecting a big change anywhere because she had no guest performers. Turns out it was the rumoured shoes after all and they read so much better on live camera and went with the outfit so well. Went absolutely crazy when she busted out into Telephone, I was totally not expecting that Sounded great from start to finish as well and I cracked up at the "hi mom & dad!" but was like clapping when she was addressing the crowd and getting them pumped up Towards the middle-end I did kinda hope there was more happening though, like I feel like the first half was better than the second. And then I was kinda disappointed that there was no performance from the ARTPOP era, I mean she said it was a performance that spanned her career, like not even a quick line from any of those songs like how she did literally the title of 'The Edge of Glory' Anyway, Million Reasons was beautiful as always with those lights and those heavenly vocals. The look for Bad Romance was killer and it was an amazing way to end the show All in all definitely one I'm gonna be watching over and over again and I can't believe it's all happened still Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
