The NFL allowed Beyonce t stage the Formation performance at the actual SHOW which would no doubt (and did) kick up controversy and backlash from conservatives. They wouldn't prevent Gaga from performing for taking a political stance, and if they did then they would be the ones to come off looking badly. Plenty of artists who have taken strong stances on issues of a political nature have played at halftime, including Bey, Madonna, Bruce, U2, more... It's frankly irrelevant.

You're only paying attention to the hate. For every hateful message she gets from a Trump supporter, there is one of admiration and love from someone else. The kind of people to support Trump in this election are not typically the types who are in Gaga's audience anyway so it's not as if she's losing anyone in great numbers.

I loved the performance, Bon Jovi duet was the only part I'm not a fan of.

As for the speech...  Well, I guess it's what needs to be done at these occasions... Just compare this with any of her heartfelt speeches during her tours and you will see the difference. I hate politics, US politics in particular (Being at war with half of the world in the name of piece? Come ON!).  Fanatic support of politicians is sooo repulsive to me, and I do wish Gaga wasn't involved.

i loved Gaga's performance even tho living on a prayer was little bit bad because they did it for the first time without rehearsals......she totally overpowered him ........you could not even hear his guitar
