Mariah has better songs. One Sweet Day is dreadful and didn t deserve that kind of success. You never hear it on the radio today. It hasn't held up well with age.

I just don't understand the success of this song. It isn't bad, necessarily, but it's not like it's anything interesting or special. so many weeks at #1 for a song that'll be long forgotten faster than it rose to the top
