Spoiler

You're giving me a million reasons to let you go
You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show
You're givin' me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons

If I had a highway, I would run for the hills
If you could find a dry way, I'd forever be still
But you're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons

I bow down to pray
I try to make the worst seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn out leather
I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But baby, I just need one good one to stay

Head stuck in a cycle, I look off and I stare
It's like that I've stopped breathing, but completely aware
'Cause you're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons

And if you say something that you might even mean
It's hard to even fathom which parts I should believe
'Cause you're giving me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons

I bow down to pray
I try to make the worst seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn out leather
I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But baby, I just need one good one to stay

Hey, ehh, ehh, eyy
Baby I'm bleedin', bleedin'
Stay, ehh, ehhy
Can't you give me what I'm needin', needin'
Every heartbreak makes it hard to keep the faith
But baby, I just need one good one
Good one, good one, good one, good one, good one

When I bow down to pray
I try to make the worst seem better
Lord, show me the way
To cut through all his worn out leather
I've got a hundred million reasons to walk away
But baby, I just need one good one, good one
Tell me that you'll be the good one, good one
Baby, I just need one good one to stay

I literally just trashed this song 5 mins ago when up to the point of Dancing In Circles, but I have to say, hearing it in the entire context of the album -- I appreciate it much more. I see it fitting into a large narrative. However, I standby my disapproval of it as a promo single.

This is the only song on the album that made me cry. Angel Down got me teary, but this one gave me proper ugly sobs. Beautiful stuff.

After hearing the song for the first time, my first impression was this song is like a Hillsong song. I will not be surprised if a worship group will play this song. The message is strong in this one. And Hillary Lindsey is cute as fish :excited2:

This is still her best song ever. Million Reasons remains unbothered with the release of the album. Honestly, it's her first song that has moved me this much since The Edge of Glory back in 2011.

This song is so cute, I hope she will perform it on tour at least a couple of times because it could be a really touching moment.

Another song being done wrong by a good chunk of the fan-base. It's very well-written. Beautiful, moving, yet catchy at the same time.
