Everyone talks about how successful the BTW era was based on the sales, but the sales were front-loaded. People got so sick of her by the time Marry the Night was a single. Many people forget that. I'll take a slow burning era with performances throughout (which we know for a fact are coming) over another front-loaded era where the novelty wears off and everyone becomes sick of her.
