With the debut of Suicide Squad's soundtrack at #1 (and the assumption that it will be the #1 soundtrack of 2016), I thought I'd take a look back at the top selling soundtracks made for films each Billboard year (November to November) since 2006.

2015: Fifty Shades of Grey

A tie between Dreamgirls and Pitch Perfect

I'll give my vote to Dreamgirls since it was when I first heard about Jennifer Hudson :legend:

This is it is more of a GH album. Other than it my favorite would be Dreamgirls specifically because of them gem. The perfect song for Beyonce's voice.

The Surrealist

The Great Gatsby had amazing artists like Florence + The Machine, Jack White, Gotye, Beyoncé, Andre3000, and Lana Del Rey.

As for a Musical Dreamgirls' soundtrack really did a great job. It's All Over + I Am Telling You and Heavy are perfect. Always gets me in the right mood for putting up with people I'm fed up with.

Probably Fifty Shades of Grey, but I really love the Twilight soundtrack and The Hunger Games soundtrack as well

good contenders not listed are The Great Gatsby, Divergent, and Sucker Punch!
