:applause: Thank you, these are the rules we needed. Will there be WP distributions for flamebait comments?

Yes, if people are going to harass each other over these things, of course. But we always take into consideration if people are provoked, and we are willing to discuss any situations that come up (unless people are being outright inflammatory to each other).

Due to an influx of questionable threads as of late, we are now implementing some rules for this section.

1) Blogs, satire, and hazing articles are no longer allowed in this subforum. Any threads of these types will be locked immediately. This counts anecdotes too -- there is nothing to be gained by 'So I met some <Candidate> supporters today . . . '. Opinion-editorials (op-eds) can also turn into these, so be wary; it's flamebait and we're not having it.

So, does that mean no threads from Huffpost Blog section?

Can we have these rules for everywhere on this site, especially in the rest of the World News section?

Make a thread in support and tag me in it! We only discussed this section in particular because it's been out-of-control, but I'd be open to it. It will be a section-by-section basis, though. For instance, the Conversation Area is going to be full of those types of threads since the section is for talking about whatever one pleases. :)

Ok, will do.

What about the threads from the Huffpost Blog section posted in this section? Are they off limits now?

FATCAT

@AyaKara so, I was wondering, if new information is leaked about a candidate, and the evidence is damning, do j have to supply a new article link if the evidence is open to the public? Because finding an article to accompany some of the leading news is hard because some of it hasn't broken through yet.

Purr more, hiss less.

Yes. Without an article, people will assume you're flamebaiting and shots will be fired immediately :icega:
