Most people here don't even know what it's about so don't bother asking for explanations from them.  There's nothing fundamentally wrong or evil about the TPP. Most of the dissent was about how secretive the whole affair was.  Why was it a secret? Well governments argue that public negotiations are always harder than they have to be and secrecy allows negotiators to put forth controversial offers and positions.
