I'll hope after 2017 germany will end up with this "event". we spent too much money for this.

So do the rest of the Big 5. Germany won it more recent than any other one though

Why? Clearly it's still an attractive venture for ARD/NDR given the viewing ratings - 9.3 million viewers/36.8% of the viewing share/their highest stats since hosing in 2011. Just because Germany is currently in a period of performing badly isn't a reason to pull out :emma:

Good news: Romania is set to be an active member of EBU again in less than two months and will therefore be eligible  to return to Eurovision!

I'm really starting to like the winner song of 2016 now!

Its going to be hard to top the amazing intro and production of this years eurovision.

What does Anouk and Douwe Bob have in common? Well, they both represented The Netherlands in Sweden and they are two of three acts who gave the country a good score after a long period of missing the finals, but also they have made a song together which I discovered right now. It's really good!

It's a shame Anouk isn't more acknowledged here. She is amazing!

One of the big annual questions who will be next years hosts. We already have two who are tipped to be the hot favorites to host the contest in Ukraine 2017. They are Zlata Ognevich and Timur Miroshnychenko who are both quite popular in Ukraine.

As you know Zlata represented Ukraine back in 2013 in Malmö and Timur is a television host and commentator in Eurovision 2016.

They both hosted Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013.
