Hikari and Letters being high on both of our lists :legend: Letters actually clicked with me as I was doing the ranking, and it jumped from a low Top 20 position to Top 3 within days dd (A few more days and it might have challenged Movin' On Without You as my #1 tbh). First Love being the threshold for the bottom of my list too :billie: From what I can see Time Will Tell + Wait and See are probably the two songs we disagree about the most.

I also just noticed I forgot to rank The Sun and the Moon (and that somehow my list has 9 more songs than yours :emma:). Sun & Moon would probably be near the bottom of my third tier I guess, or somewhere on Tier #4.

Fun Fact: The K in KPop stands for "Kate Bush"

Letters is so good! I remember when I was in high school I kept trying to get my friend (who also liked Utada) into that song and she just never connected with it. I knew it would be really high on my list when I started it.

Wait and See ranked higher than I thought it would. And yeah I just don't like her old-school stuff like Automatic, Time Will Tell, For You, etc. You do NOT like "Hanataba Wo Kimi Ni" lol. I think it's pretty alright. I also was not here for ballads while I was doing my ranking, they're just so boring compared to her more energetic songs.

Your list is longer than mine cuz you included her English songs and I didn't :flop: I thought about it but ended up not including them, even though I didn't have a good reason not to (also her singles choices for both albums were... suspect)

But all in all I feel like we have a lot of agreement. I wish I'd thought to tier mine, would've made it better organized.

The fact that you found four songs worse than Bokyaku :selena:

I liked most of Exodus's singles but there's always something on each of these songs' production that I find kind of annoying :poot: and I ended up placing Bokyaku over these other songs because at least it has a beat/a pulse, while these other ballads felt very non-descript and forgettable. Upon relistening, I actually think Boukyaku would've been a perfectly fine song if she wasn't completely missing from the first half of it :emma: But do I still resent it for getting a music video while Michi and Tomodachi got paid dust? Absolutely :crossed:

Well now we've done Perfume and Utada, I wonder which JPop act's singles we'll rank next year :emma:
