But now the probability of BLACKPINK having another comeback this year is higher. Those Kakaotalk messages are hilarious tho. On a serious note, I feel bad for iKON and B.I. The first part of the album has songs that fit with the concept of the title track. They have that feel of cute girl group but it is somehow well balanced with some more mature vocals or melodies that are a little more melancholic. Things get extremely pop with Tic Toc, it almost feels like a TWICE b-side. Tracks 5 to 9 would form in my opinion a perfect mini album. Even the ballad (Underwater Love) is great. Gravity is another Twice inspired song and Crime Scene is a little bit weird like a RV red b-side. Checkmate would definitely be the title track, but Vogue is a little gay anthem that I wasn't expecting. It feels great walking in public places while listening to it . My only regret is that this is not a collab song between good friends Kai, Jimin and Taemin. I can't help but imagine them strutting around in flashy outfits and vouging while hollering "Pose!
