It wasn't until probably about 2006 that they stopped trying to make every new female singer into a Christina/Britney hybrid. And there was Pink the whole time just fvcking up the game, and still coming out on top right before Rihanna and Katy came along to diversify things a little further. And then the biggest game changer of all time came out of nowhere with her strange dance-pop music about just dancing and disco sticks and literally changed not just pop music, but the world, forever.
