If Elton John or Bruno Wars were on that stage singing this song, nobody would be talking about their weight or hair styling or nitpick to death their wardrobe or makeup-- they would focus on the performance because THAT'S what is important. I get that Gaga is theatrical and she has served some iconic looks over the years, so maybe her fans want some of that, but she is changing. For years she has faced criticism that her looks detract from the meaning of her songs, and I think she's getting tired of playing dress up if people are going to ignore the actual music. It could be the difference in audio quality, but vocally I don't think she topped the Women in Music performance, but the more intricate piano playing with the lighter color in her voice were really nice! I love it when Gaga shows how she interpret and reinterpret the expression of her songs And that hair COLOR. OMG. I hope we see more of that. Yeah that weird line is there but whatever.
