Just got home.We were SO close - we haven't come this close in 23Â years (since I was born). What an accomplishment still. Whenever a team defeats your team there is a tendency to cheer the team that plays them next. I hope it is a good series with great baseball and may the best team win. Mars..........or bust! I thought Eric Hosmer was going to be the goat in this game but instead his sacrific fly produced the winning run. (Alex Gordon saved him) I hope all the games are in extra innings.......
