I'm sad for Lana Del Rey

Who cares? She obviously doesn't. She doesn't even promote, she didn't go on TV once for Ultraviolence yet it still went #1 in multiple countries. That shows her influence and fan base without commercialising herself.

Nowadays she just makes music she likes, releases it, and goes on tour. In her Beats1 interview with Zane Lowe she said she intentionally keeps herself hidden from the media spotlight, and I respect that. Even though as a fan I'd like to see more TV performances for my own enjoyment, it's admirable that a big name like her with so many fans doesn't even try to push her music to the masses. She just does it for her and I think that's cool.

The Lana fans I know are still interested in her. My cousin even played "High by the Beach" in the car when it leaked.

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

I feel that she is right where she wants to be, she is kind of too shy for much more, but she has an amazing fanbase and gets to do her art. Best of everything, really.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

I'm not sad for somebody who wishes death and disease upon a 17-year-old kid just because they said the Born To Die video was somewhat pompous and materialistic.

What delusional fan fiction is this?

In response to anyone and everyone talking about Lana fading away... Did anyone attend the 2014 North American Tour? Sold out at every show. With very limited # of tickets sold (due to venue size). One year later an one more "not good" album, Endless Summer Tour was a huge success and was played at much more larger venues.

In 2014, I saw here in ATL with about 500 in attendance. This summer, I saw her in Charlotte with about 15,000 in attendance. She's not going anywhere.
