It's commonplace to see those things now but even my parents have said that back in the 80's nobody was on Madonna's level....everyone was sounding like her and dressing like her... My point is that MJ had choreographed performances, boundary pushing videos, and tours that consisted and fashion before Madonna starting with albums like Off The Wall, and following this with Thriller. Madonna was just a less talented more s-xualized MJ. So I would say Thriller is the most definite pop era. I just realized something, if Madge is a less talented s-xualized MJ - then what is Gaga?
