Venus was not controversial, catchy, and would've done well after Applause, but no...label has to ruin everything it was pretty obvious DWUW was a better choice. Which ever promo single was released first would have ended up being the 2nd single. They switched it to DWUW because it went straight to number 1 on iTunes andafter tthat Dope and Venus did.
