Taylor Swift: 6M
Fearless: 9M
Speak Now: 5M
Red: 6M
1989: 9M

She's going to continue slaying, as always.

What are those delusional and over-estimated numbers for Taylor Swift, Fearless, and 1989? :lmao::deadbanana:

It happened to: Micheal Jackson, The Beatles, Madonna, etc......

It WILL happen, but I doubt it will be in her next era. Maybe 5-10 years since she can't be singing about love all the time.

With how much she has been opening her mouth lately and showing how greedy she is, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a slight decline in her sales/fan base.

Decline is inevitable, but I don't think it's happening that soon...and then she might rise again...pop music (and pop artists) goes in cycles...

EDIT: I will feel bad for her when she fails (bc she's a nice talented girl), but I must say that it will be fun to watch her insufferable stans deal with it...

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

People said Red would flop because her last album "flopped" compared to   Fearless. It didn't. People then said that 1989 would flop because people weren't here for Pop Taylor. It didn't. So people have been predicting her downfall since the back half of the Fearless era in 2010. What's more, this "backlash" she's enduring now pales compared to the Red ex-boyfriend maneater slut backlash she had going for her which was pretty hardcore, and she pulled through that , so she will be fine.

It's pretty clear 1989 is a peak for her so there's a big possibility TS6 won't be this enormous but I'm totally okay with that. I'm here for another Speak Now """flop"""

Taylor Swift is at 5,5M and 1989 is at 8,6M.

And that is a fact.

Stay seething because 1989 will sell as much as Teenage Dream+PRISM did PUT TOGETHER by the time this era is over. :rofl:

1989 shipped 8.6 million, but has sold around 7.5-7.8 million.

1989: 8.6M in February and has been selling like crazy since then so she must be at 9M or close now

A little inflated, sure but still very true

Her music is safe & generic, so i don't expect her to decline.

Right!! That was my thought too! Safe & generic works for the people the gp since 2011/2012 & taylor seems not to capable of taking risks

& what i wonder about all the time, isn't Red a pop album too? what is so country, how most in here say?

IFPI is known for reporting the shipments for albums, not their actual sales.

IFPI is known for reporting the shipments for albums, not their actual sales.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!

For example, ARTPOP sold around 2 millions copies worldwide while it shipped 2.5 million.

Some articles and fans say that ARTPOP sold 2.5 million and that's NOT true.
