Britney (or her team) is still stuck on this teen pop sound (if Pretty Girls and her albums post-Blackout is anything to go by). After her fall from grace with AP in the media's eyes, then her redemption with jazz and the Oscars, Gaga needs the songs on her next pop album to be a progression of sorts - a frothy meaningless pop ditty that starts out with "Mustard on the beat ho!" just isn't going to fly, she has to step it up and mature lyrically - more in line with what Beyonce has done with her sound, and less...
