Pretty Girls is a bad song, it was its destiny to flop and to be an embarrassment for the singers involved in it

She may not be an album seller like some of her contemporaries but she still sells amazingly for a female rapper. In America, she sells really well, but your statement is true on a global scale. The Pinkprint hasn't even gained a silver certification in the UK yet and her last album, despite having 2 top tens, couldn't even sell 300k here. If America ever falls out of love with her, she'll have nowhere to turn.

every rapper is like this

drakes album sold 1.1 million www and 1 million is from usa

same for kendrick

Thats one of the main reasons I can't stand Nicki Minaj. I think for the most part she makes pure crap but its solely supported because shes a woman of color. There are so many talented and deserving woc in rap and other genres as well that could be in her position that I think deserve acclaim far more than she does but she gets away with murdering eardrums because of peoples political agendas.

not when she was dragged from hell to back during 2012 :lmao:

people need to stop bringing nicki into every iggy thread

im not talking about 2012 though. Im talking about the pink print. im talking about how certain societal shifts have altered peoples perception of her crap.

and first of all i did not bring her up, secondly its rap music so its not entirely irrelevant.

you can quit your crying now, thats one of the most obnoxious emojis ever.

Even Nicki is more like Flo Rida than she would like - a queen of pop features rather than an albums artist with hop hop heads buying her for lyrics.

her first album is 2x platinum her second album is platinum and her thrid album is gold 600k+ which is fine today (and shes releasing more singles)and she hasnt had a reals smash this era

shes doing pretty good for a female rapper

so this is incorrect

Her original comment is correct. There was hardly any promo or performances for the song. I don't think she blamed Britney either, at the end of the day the record company decides how much money they are going to put into promo for a song. She was throwing shade at The Pop Zone's twitter account not at Britney. But the media loves to blast Iggy for anything she says.

BTW at no point did Iggy say,  "I had no support from Brit." What ever you want to read into the comment is your business, but at no point did she even mention Britney as the person to blame.

Ok. Now I feel bad for Iggy. She needs to sing Do What U Want to ignore the haters.

The true. The song would have done better without Britney. She also ruins the video. They can fix up what we cant see, like her voice, but its clear that when her presence is need it, they cant edit her enough to make it work.
