Isn't the song just beyonce repeating the word "video phone" 50 times?

I didn't listen to it in a long time but that's the one thing i remember....

The song isn't really ground breaking, plus it was like single #432 from that album. People just had enough :adam:

Saying that though, lemme go listen to it now. I haven't listened in ages

wtf is a video phone anyway?:green:

A videophone is a telephone with a video display, capable of simultaneous video and audio for communication between people in real-time. Videophone service provided the first form of videotelephony, later to be followed by videoconferencing, webcams, and finally high-definition telepresence.

Does anyone know if they planned to both having a song talking about phones and then being featured on each others songs?

Because 1)it was a VERY late single 2)Gaga's part is the only good part of the song.

I think it was just a coincidence

Gaga wrote Telephone for Britney back in 2008 for Circus

Well she already had a good deal of singles from that album. That being said, you'd still think a collaboration with a then at peak of phenom Lady Gaga would do drastically drastically better. And honestly, a lot of fans talk **** on the song and its video. But to be honest, I think the song sounds like it couldve been a hit (if at least a mediocre one) and I always thought the video was ****ing dope. So honestly I don't know.
