​I did some research and according to the Rolling Stone a recording artist gets 20 cents of every purchase on iTunes (assuming the song costs $1.29), while the songwriters have to split 9 cents (Apple and the label get the rest).
Assuming that you are one of the co-songwriters you'll probably get 21-25 cents per purchased song. So technically a Platinum selling single would bring you 220k-250k. If you got a good deal with your record label of course though. :green:
