First, I think she decided to wait for HOME to be in theaters to release her solo album. The timing is odd, the singles choices are questionable.But then, when we all thought things couldn't get worse : TIDAL HAPPENED ! She's been chosen to test this new way of releasing music and I think it's safe to say that they have like NO idea of what they are doing. I think it's more about the quality of the songs. 45S was a nice song, it divided people but it was nice. However the rest of the material is mediocre at best. I think that without her usual songwriting team camps, this is what we get.LA Reid made her the first priority on his label for years. She got the best writers bringing their best songs to Rihanna's yearly songwriting camp. Her label payed top dollar for her hits, year after year.
