Oh wow. I totally had that mixed up. Im sorry. But I do remember thinking that Gaga wasn't talking specifically about getting raped. That she was talking more in general about producers who have taken advantage of her and how she didn't stick around after that. Im pretty sure she didn't talk about getting raped until later on in the interview.

Yeah. This is true. She was talking about s-xual abuse in general, but she claimed that it's not hard to figure out who were those guys, because every fan know with whom she's worked. That said, the only guy who fits her description about rape is Rob. We all might be wrong, but with whom else did Gaga work when she was about 19 that was 20 years older, and said that they used to date? Maybe it was someone else, but fans suspect him because he's the only one we know that fits that description.

He did not rape her. People like you say it's "obvious", it wasn't him. He is kind and he once loved her, he would never have done that to her. You want to know what happened? A lawsuit happened over jurisdictions between him and Wendy.

This thread is a mess and is making me very uncomfortable. Chica clearly did not intend for this thread to turn into this.

 

A few things: 

 

1. STOP throwing around accusations as if you know what you're talking about. There are many people in this thread posting as if they know with 100% certainty who did (or didn't do) what. Unless one of you is Gaga or someone close to her, take a seat and stop making assumptions about her private matters.

 

2. Rape/s-xual assault is a serious topic. It isn't some frivolous thing to throw around in discussion with theories going every which way. Discussing things Gaga and other public figures have said is fine. But please respect that it is a serious topic and something very personal for Gaga. How do you think she would feel reading this thread?? Especially before so many posts have been hidden. On this forum we prefer if every post was something we could be reasonably comfortable with Gaga seeing. Please think about that before posting.

 

3. Stop the bickering. There have been members quoting each other back and forth and bickering this entire time. If you have nothing constructive to contribute to the thread, don't.

Rape accusations aside, this still feels disrespectful to gaga's work. As much as we may want more of his work, she obviously had a severe falling out with him, and he acted disrespectful towards her. To have a global moderator give him more pride within the fanbase is ridiculous.

Obviously Gaga thinks it's ok to celebrate rapists just because they make good songs, she featured one on her last record. 

 

Mona Lisa? Painted by a man who had inappropriate relationships with his young male students, much like Rob Fusari supposedly had with Gaga. Naked Lunch? Written by  a man who shot his wife in the face. Alice In Wonderland? Written by a pedophile. 

 

If you aren't able to separate the art form the artist you aren't going to be able to enjoy much art.
