But this is kinda a good thing. Now, you buy an album, test it out then return it if it's bad.

This will also encourage artists to make REALLY good albums so that people won't return it

But people still can keep album despite refunding it so even if album is good people will refund it lol

The decay of the music industry is coming, Gaga predicted it :troll:

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

Big mess.

I don't understand how this refund thing will work tho? Can Apple delete the song from your computer/iPhone somehow? If not you could just regret the purchase, get your money back but still have the song

They'll have to clarify the exact rules and regulations and plug any loop holes for this to become problem-free

You can just buy the album, make a copy of it, and then refund it and get it for free then? :rip:

Imagine if (for instance) Lady Gaga had the biggest-selling album of 2015, then halfway through 2016 found out that once returns were taken into account she’d only sold eight copies.

how does charting work then

Billboard is probably taking in all the albums which were bought and not returned in one week, then they update the charts, then people can return it. :hehe:

If Cheek To Cheek had been eligible for this, so many monsters would've bought it. :air:

I think APPLE have their own way tbh.

It wouldn't that easy since they wanna make profits in the end.

And so does the recording labels.

Is Apple high on bath salts? :rip:

It's not just Apple. I read that it's because of some new law by the European Union.
