CHANTEL 2 Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 I watched it yesterday (Nov. 20 when it premiered here), it was A-MA-ZING Movies: Catching Fire=Mockingjay>>>>Hunger Games Books: Catching Fire>Hunger Games>>>>Mockingjay I didn't think it would be THAT good on screen tbh but I turned out to be wrong my friend said that something really suprising happens in the movie and that it's intense but a little different without the actual games in the movie. if he read the books I think he already knows what the 'surprising' thing is Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

One Five Ten 70 Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 Loved this so much. The only reason it's getting less positive (still good) reviews than the first two is because of the split. It results in a weaker whole film, but when Part 2 is released and they can be watched back to back, Mockingjay will be the clear masterpiece of the trilogy. I'd also like to note the changes from the book entirely are for the BETTER Effie being in it throughout, and Katniss playing a semi-part in Peeta's rescue were both changes I REALLY agreed with. I was gobsmacked when Katniss first started singing, and then it turns into this epic rebel mantra. Omg. I was singing it out the theatre, in my sleep, in the shower the next day.
