They want something to pump them not a something that will put them to sleep. If Gaga does perform one day at the super bowl she should do a massive pop performance where she will receive critical acclaims for it. Obviously the performances are a great publicity boost for the artist, but it's mutually beneficial. I hope Katy/Rihanna/Coldplay/Whoever don't agree to pay. They should really stand up to this.
