Not her best VMA performance though for me (production-wise), but the reactions from the crowd were priceless, especially during her opening monologue which is arguably the best part of it all! It's nothing much superficially, but the implications and subtext and diegesis-aware levels of narrative in it is incredible. A very smart, very visceral performance.
