How I Would Have Done ARTPOP's Singles

Do What U Want is there as a promotional single. G.U.Y. flopped as a single.

 

 

I don't think it would have. The song is decent but has a weak chorus.

If there wasnt huge blackouts and lack of DWUW video it would've done well. Critics praised it as one of Gagas best works so And u saying it has a weak chorus The chorus is what makes GUY

I recently posted a thread about what people wanted as singles, but the following are my personal choices that I believe would be the best:

 

Lead Single: Aura

Promotional Single: Do What U Want

Second Single: Venus

Third Single: MANiCURE (Telephone continuation)

Fourth Single: Sexxx Dreams (Depending on if past singles are successful)

Final Single: Applause

 

I stan hard for that song, but I wouldn't want it to be the sequel

 

Also I think that ARTPOP should have been released as at least a promotional single. She did a (little) video for it and three performances, that's like so much more promo than for G.U.Y, :megaflop:

But we can't change the past. :)

And not you guys not keeping Applause as the lead single, everybody loves Applause and it's now one of her more iconic songs. And if it had its original release plan I'm sure it would have done so much better in its first week, which would have reduced/ prevented the flop talk :cry:
