KingOfSpain 10,010
Aura, Venus. Mary Jane Holland or Swine are purely avant-garde. http://gagadaily.com/forums/topic/227246-ceremony-gagas-videography-megarate/
Echo 326
Yeah idgi when people say that. Like ever since BTW her music has always been more harder and raw, in terms of the genre.
KingOfSpain 10,010
cause its a flop and everyone is trying to cover up their hate about it using this excuse ARTPOP is not a flop... - 1.900.000 copies sold worldwide - 1 hit single - 1 not-very.successful single - 1 flop single. - 1 hit tour. That's what it is. http://gagadaily.com/forums/topic/227246-ceremony-gagas-videography-megarate/
Echo 326
Aura, Venus. Mary Jane Holland or Swine are purely avant-garde. But lets not go too far
Wolf 1,328
ARTPOP is mostly edm, but not just any basic + generic edm. It has a mix of other genres too. And ARTPOP is experimental for gaga. She has ventured through more genres in AP than any album she has done. That's what basically makes the whole album "ART" tbh
Azor Ahai 18,861
ARTPOP is not a flop... - 1.900.000 copies sold worldwide Where did you get that number from?
Nein 508
ARTPOP is not a flop... - 1.900.000 copies sold worldwide - 1 hit single - 1 not-very.successful single - 1 flop single. - 1 hit tour. That's what it is. Sorry for my structure.. I mean they find ARTPOP a flop compared to other albums and they tried to cover their hate of ARTPOP due to its sales and find other excuses to cover I'm gonna change my post, I dont even think ARTPOP is anywhere near a flop :rip:
hmm 979
Saying the EDM was "basic in 2012" is a bad excuse too. Unless you have every album of every successful song that was released in that period how can you determine that it wasn't varied? Anyway there's lots of EDM tracks and artists that are continuing to do well so the comparison isn't really idek
Saeed 1,937
Aura, Venus. Mary Jane Holland or Swine are purely avant-garde. I don't see Aura or Swine to be avant-garde tbh even tho they are two of my favorites off the album.

That J 12,166
Because instead of admitting they don't like the album and just leave it be, many Little Managers and Little DJs have to pretend like they know a lot about the different genres of music and use it as a pathetic excuse to justify their hate. PREACH!!!! Also how many of them also suddenly knew everything about the art world and Jeff Koons. ;) The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw
