I'm pretty sure they said they were going with someone else for A on the show. Yeah, it strays from the books quite a bit (or so I hear), but it kind of has to...otherwise there IS no mystery, since half the people watching have already read them. I haven't seen the last episode yet, but I watched the first one of this season yesterday. OMG. Dey have A's phone. And Aria and Ezra told her parents. EXPLOSIVE STUFF. AMIGAWD. Now just waiting for the 2nd season DVD because we are so behind.
