But the fact is that Gaga is more artist than popstar. I mean, just look at all the things she has done this year. A classical performance, a jazz tour, a disco/funk song for a fashion line, a horror TV show. Gaga is just a complete artist. So there is no reason why she should stay grounded in mainstream pop when she could do so many other things with her talent. If she want to do pop than that is fine, but she doesn't have to. They are living out their borderline abusive thoughts of controlling people because they can't control their own lives due to being tremendously insecure. She'll explore many mediums in the future, very likely starring in film and being nominated for Emmys and Oscars, but her music is just too big for her to be considered an 'entertainer' over a 'pop star'. She gave the world the biggest music video of the 2000s and basically 1984-2009, the biggest music video of the 2010s, and some of the biggest songs of the 21st century. She could win best actress someday but she'll still always be a pop star in the eyes of the world. Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?
