Just a few days before releasing her next album, Selena Gomez announced plans for the Revival tour to begin in 2016. The tour will start May 6 in Las Vegas, and in its first leg Gomez will hit 41 cities in North America.

“I am ready to get back on the road and see my fans in person!” said Gomez in a statement. “This album marks a new and very important chapter in my life. I cannot wait to get on stage and perform this new material.”

Revival is due out Friday, and features the already-released singles “Good For You,” “Same old Love,” and “Me and the Rhythm.” In an interview with EW, Gomez said the album is her most confident yet. “I was always insecure with my speaking voice because it’s so low,” she said. “I never felt like it was feminine-sounding. I didn’t know it would be such an asset to who I am now, though. It adds a cool, personal quality. It’s exciting.”

Tbh I'd believe it too. Most artists say they cancel tours to reflect on their career and reinvent themselves, but that never seems to happen. Selena has legitimately done that tho :laughga:
