Diane Warren (co-writer of the song) and Catherine Hardwicke (director of the video) were guests of BBC Radio 5 Live. The women, who created the powerful project "Til It Happens To You" sat down with host Nihal Arthanayake to comment their work together.

It was so nice that they played fragments of the song tho it was at 11PM and on BBC 5, but it's stil some kind of a promo

I really didn't think that was a problem in university campuses.

if you're talking about rape, you clearly didn't bother to watch the movie.

there's an EPIDEMIC of s-xual assaults on campuses, basically. the issue is of profound importance. you just proved the stereotypical way in which people tend to handle it: it's not a problem. well, yeah, if instances are systematically and institutionally covered up and victims don't see to point in reporting, then it's hard to think of it as a problem.
