In my opinion, Gaga needed Tony as much as he needed her. If Cheek to Cheek was a solo album, it would have never worked. But it works because they both compliment eachother so well, Its not about the record or how much it sells or peaks on the chart with them, its about the music, that why it flawlessly works.
