Kid Rock opened bigger in pure album sales (137k vs. Madonna's 116k and Kelly's 83k) + released earlier than both females' latest albums. In addition to that, his album spent in the top 50 in HDD's album chart (for pure album sales) longer than the two, hence the lead. His album was also once a part of the YTD's top 20 until the Q2 big releases pushed him away from the cut. Madge and Kelly didn't from the get-go.

​All the figures here are actual album sales, as noted in the OP before the top 20 YTD list. TEAs and SEAs (stream equivalent albums) are excluded. As for your other question, TEAs or SEAs occurred during the tracking week are the only ones covered for that period. But for the sake of overall reports by the labels (and not by Billboard and even Nielsen since they don't report RTD totals of album equivalents for a particular album except if it's for the YTD tally), all streams earned and tracks sold from all songs in an existing album, even before the album release in the case of pre-album singles, are all covered.

OUT, as also stated in the OP's 'quick guide' of the terminology I've used under the spoiler of which you've opened, means that there's no album sales publicly provided for that album in the last tracking week. No album sales provided also indicates that the album has left the top 50 best-sellers in pure album sales, given HDD's weekly report has a cut-off of 50 albums only.
