Forget “Viva Las Vegas” — Viva Adele! Rumor has it that the 27 year-old “Rumour Has It” singer is reportedly in consideration for an extended stint in Sin City! Adele might have also hit the jackpot, as the report claims that the casinos are willing to shell out a huge payday if she decides to sign on the dotted line! Adele is in the middle of a massive bidding war, according to a new report in the June 1 issue ofInTouch magazine. The Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, The Venetian and Ceaser’s Palace are all reportedly trying to nab Adele for a two-year residency! “The demand for Adele is off the charts,” a source told InTouch, as the report says that she could nab a $40 million dollar paycheck! Cha-ching! “Everyone is dying to see her perform again,” the source said, before adding, “This could be the biggest deal ever put together.” No kidding! Adele would be the next Diva to light up the neon of the Las Vegas Strip. Music icons like Cher andCeline Dion have made the Entertainment Capital of the World a second home, with the next generation of divas like Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey also taking the town by storm. There might be another reason for Adele to sign on for a two-year stay in the Nevada desert. She hasn’t toured in four years, as the report said she quit her 2011 US tour due to vocal issues. Artists that want to stay in one place for a while and have a life outside of touring are also interested in residencies. They have big payouts and you can live somewhere else and fly in on a private plane every weekend.
