That's with everything to maximize it's peak - Brit performance plus album preorders which had it start at #1 on itunes (but plummet immediately). Kylie's Into the Blue going in at #12 last March doesn't look so bad now. The older the fanbase, the less they buy itunes or use spotify.
From what I hear from Sayhay insiders, they are working on new music, but it isn't for a proper commercial album. Maybe an EP or another release like the tour songs. I think Kylie might be willing to experiment with music for fun, like some of her Donconstruction era projects.
Madonna took it hard because of her pride and perfectionism. A girl with a sense of humour would deal better.

I think "whiplash might be hyperbolic, like using "rape" and "terrorism" when he album leaked. But I'm sure the old girl will be feeling some discomfort for a few days.
