Every once in a while I'll post a little 'game'/discussion topic. Not as an official thread thing, but just because I'm bored LOL. Here's the first: your KPop/JPop fave decides they want to officially break out into the American music market. They come to you - their close personal friend and confidante (naturally) - to help them decide which song to use as their American debut (or re-debut if they've done this before). Your job is to decide which of their past songs - recent or old, doesn't matter - they should use, or come up with an idea for a new song. If you want to add in additional stuff, like how the music video looks or what other promo they should do, that's cool but not necessary. Let's get some cool ideas! Mine is below: So obvi my fave is CHI CHI. I'd have them release an English version of "Longer" (or "Stronger" ) using the newer, five-girl version of the group. I think it sounds more like what's on the radio now than anything else they've put out. They'd release their cover of Destiny's Child's "Stand Up For Love" as the B-Side to get some promo. The music video would tell a story about a bad break-up - with the couple yelling, throwing things, pushing furniture, etc - mixed in with KPop-style dance-in-a-box scenes. For promo purposes, the girls would have their "Love is Energy" looks (Semi with bright red hair, Boreum blonde, etc) so the American audience can tell them apart LOL. btw you should add Aislayee's song "I'll Show You" to the #TBT list *girl putting lipstick on gif* Fun Fact: The K in KPop stands for "Kate Bush" Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
