During which era did you become a fan?

I think knowing when people became a fan and what kind of music drew them to Lady Gaga will show where people are coming from when they show favor to Gaga's past work or her recent work.

I don't understand why people have to fight over which song or album they favor most, when it is all subjective to each person's tastes, that Gaga was able to capture with her artwork, and/or presentation.

So let us hear it... :classy:

The Fame (VMA performance tuned me into a fan) and then TFM sealed me for life.

But I still think The Fame is her 'worst' album.

No lie, I fell in love with Gaga when I had my music on shuffle and Summerboy came on (never heard it before) and i LOVED IT

Before I knew about the singles, and I actually was into some unreleased tracks like RockShow and Fooled Me Again, but Summerboy made me a fan.

But I knew Gaga was the real thing when I first heard her do Paparazzi Acoustic.

I root for you. I love you. You, you, you, you.

The Fame

I remember hearing Just Dance in Oct/Nov 2008 around the album release and I downloaded it from Limewire back when that was a thing. The tracklist was all messed up but I remember listening to Paparazzi over and over again on the bus

Wow, surprising to see so many Fame lovers sticking around for years, following and remaining devoted to her this whole time. Kudos to y'all! :adam:

I was a fan from the very beginning with Just Dance. Always loved her songs. But I REALLY formed a connection with her and her music at the beginning of the Born This Way era. It was my first year of college and I was having a hard time adjusting. Born This Way brought me a lot of comfort.
